Two people from completely different worlds are about to be thrown together...

In more ways than one.

She wants to keep her scholarship. He wants to stay on the team. An awkward alliance doesn't even begin to cover Rimmel and Romeo's relationship.

But that's about to change.

It starts with a dare. An initiation. A challenge.

Quickly, it turns into more. But when you're a victim of your status, there is no room for anything real. The rules are clear and simple.

Stick to your circle.

And never fall in love with anyone on the outside.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! It has been awhile since I have enjoyed reading a new adult romance so much! #NERD is the first book I have read by Cambria Hebert and I am excited to check out her other works.

Rimmel is well…a #NERD. She is super shy, smart and keeps to herself at Alpha U. She prefers animals over humans and is studying to become a veterinarian. She is told that she must tutor someone to keep her academic scholarship. And that someone turns out to be the most popular fella at school, Roman aka “Romeo”.

Romeo is the “man” around campus, you know star football player and very popular with the ladies. He needs to get his grades up so he can play football.  When paired with the shy #NERD Rimmel an unlikely friendship-bond slowly begins to grow….

I must say yes parts of this story were a bit predictable. Social outcast and the popular guy. Yes we’ve all read it before. But this story was hilarious! It has bit of everything that makes an unputdownable read. I think I actually snorted a few times reading this book. It’s laugh out loud funny, has some swoon worthy moments and at times gut wrenching. The hilarious texts from the campus gossip guro #ALPHABUZZ at the beginning of each chapter was one of my favorite parts of this story. If you are fan of New Adult books you do not want to miss this one and if you have taken break from then you should still give #NERD a try! I did and I loved it! Ooh and these two get a second book! #HATER it will be out after the first of the year! 4 Stars -Kristen
