Tana’s Review: What can I say she’s done it once again. Vivian Winslow’s forth book in the Gilded Flower’s series Blue Dahlia is just beyond words. With each new novella she writes I don’t think I can like anything more, that is until I read the next one. Blue Dahlia follows Dahlia Lily’s twin sister. Yes the same sister who slept with her fiancé, doesn’t have a care in the world, and is the eternal up for anything party girl. However, as you will see when as you turn the pages she is so much more than that. She is falling for Rodrigo her sexy Latin lover and who can blame her the way Vivian describes him I’m surprised my Kindle didn’t melt, I know I sure did…..But with every great love story there comes drama and Dahlia’s drama forces her to face her past. Once again leaving us the reader hanging on by a thread and impatiently waiting to see where Dahlia will take us next.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Vivian Winslow was born and raised in Southern California. Before becoming a writer, she made a career out of moving around the world every couple of years thanks to her husband’s job. She currently lives in New York City with her husband and two elementary school age children, and is grateful to finally have a place to call home for more than two years. New York is the perfect city to indulge her love of shopping, the arts and especially food.
If she’s not at home writing or running around the city with her kids, you’ll most likely find her indulging in pizza on the Lower East Side or having a cocktail at her favorite bar in Alphabet City. That said, she’s still a California girl at heart and would gladly trade in her heels for a pair of flip-flops to catch a sunset on the beach. .
