In Texas, two things are cherished above all else—football and gossip. My life has always been ruled by both.Buy the Book •
Dallas Cole loathes football. That's what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past.
But life doesn't always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn’t bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball… as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again.
Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It's obliterated.
Dallas doesn't know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn't know that Dallas is his new coach's daughter.
And neither of them know how to walk away from the attraction they feel.
4 Get Lost In You Stars
All Lined Up by Cora Cormack was just the book I needed! As of late I have been reading more adult books and PNR than College Aged stories. The genre has been flooded with New Adult College books the past few years so it was time for me to take a break! That being said I absolutely adored this book! It is well written, witty, low on the angst and drama(there is some of course) and overall a great addition to the New Adult genre.
Dallas’s entire life has revolved around football. Raised by her father, a successful football coach, she yearns for something else for herself. She refuses to date football players after a bad experience.
Carson is on a mission to make the team as a starter and earn a scholarship to pay for his education. He doesn’t have time for the ladies or any other distractions. He is a hard worker and very determined to meet his goals.
When these two meet the instantly hit it off but Dallas doesn’t realize that Carson is on her dads football team…..
This story is right at the Young Adult/New Adult line. I would have liked a bit more steam but that is just a personal preference. Don’t let it stop you from reading this book! It really is a great story of growth and making life decisions for yourself. I look forward to more books in this series!
“I can’t walk away from you because I don’t want to. There are a thousand things I want and need to do, but you trump all of them. You drive me to distraction, and all I want to do is get lost in you. All I want to do is make you lose it, too.” – Carson
