Between the pissed off creatures that want demon-hunter Lily Marks dead and the fallen angel who just...wants her, Lily is about ready to trade in forever for a comfy job in a cubicle farm.

The fact that she and Julian are civil to one another is enough to have her thrown out of the Sanctuary, but she can't shake her not-so-angelic stalker or how he brings her dangerously close to ecstasy.

Her forbidden relationship with Julian provides the perfect fuel for suspicion when a traitor is discovered to be working within the Sanctuary. Lily quickly finds herself hunted by well, everyone.

Her only hope is to discover the real traitor before she loses everything--and she'll need Julian's help. That is, if Julian is really there to help her...and not destroy her.

Yeah, being a Nephilim isn't everything it's cracked up to be.

Great start to this new series! I have been looking forward to reading this new release by J. Lynn for quite sometime. And this book did not disappoint! Tons of action, hot Bedroom scenes with an Angel *sigh* and a bit of mystery.

This story follow’s Lily, a Nephilim, which is the offspring of a Fallen Angel and a human. Lily is one tough little lady! Her life is contracted to “The Sanctuary.” Her job is to kill Fallen Angels, Minions and Deadheads. She has spent almost her entire life training for her position with The Sanctuary. Let me tell you Lily is one seasoned killer!

For the past 8 years Julian, a Fallen Angel, has been following Lily. Lily and her fellow Nephilim refer to him as her “stalker.” However on several occasions he has came to her aide and even saved her life. Being that Julian is a Fallen any type of relationship between the two of them is forbidden. Technically she should be trying to kill him. Lily has only known life as part of the Sanctuary. As her relationship with Julian grows, he begins to show her that everything in life isn’t as black and white as the Sanctuary would have her believe…..

My Lily

My Julian

I am looking forward to where this series will go. It is nicely set up for future books. All of the characters are very well developed and have much room for growth!
