After serving as a dutiful bridesmaid in the wedding from hell, Aynslee Shaw just wants to slink home to Nashville and forget the whole trip. That is, until the hottest guy she’s ever seen is seated next to her on the flight and dazzles her with his easy laugh and killer smile. But just when she thinks things are getting good, he vanishes, leaving Aynslee wondering, was that guy the one? And did she just let him slip through her fingers?

Former superstar goalie Jordan Ryan is back on the ice—finally. After a crippling knee injury that had him wondering if he’d ever play pro hockey again, he’s got his full attention on rebuilding his career. So a pretty—okay, beautiful—girl on a plane shouldn’t be a distraction. But Jordan is very, very distracted. And when Aynslee crosses his path again, he’s not sure any job in the world is worth missing his second chance with a woman like her.

Ahh I was so happy to get a chance to read this Novella. I absolutely adore Toni Aleo’s style of writing. Her character’s seem so real and believable.

Grade school teacher, Aynslee Shaw, is seated next to a gorgeous man on her return flight to Nashville. After having a horrible day she finds herself having great conversation and completely taken with the handsome Jordan Ryan. Jordan Ryan is the back up goalie for the Nashville Assassins. Since recovering from his knee injury he has been spending most of his time being benched. Lacking the confidence he once had prior to his injury, he finds himself unsure if he should try for anything more with Aynslee than a one time conversation on a plane. Concentrating on getting his career back on track is the most important thing to him. Ignoring his feelings he walks away from Aynslee. But she has other plans……

This Novella was a great addition to the Assassins series! I was suprised how much I adored this story. It didn’t have the too rushed feel I experience from most novellas.
